Terms of Sale

Bob Long Direct does not currently accept international orders via its website or online payment solutions. International orders are handled on an individual basis via telephone only. All shipping charges are estimated based on recipient’s address being located in the contiguous 48 states. Orders placed by residents of Alaska, Hawaii or other outlying US territories may incur above average shipping fees due to geographical location.

All orders must be delivered to the registered cardholders address. Address checks will take place, so to avoid unnecessary delay, please ensure the correct address is given.

It is not possible to inform our customers as to the availability of any particular product. Products offered for sale are rarely out of stock but the situation may arise due to shortages with supply. However, if an item is out of stock we will contact the customer by email or telephone informing them as to the status of their order.

Every effort is made to keep product and pricing information up to date. If an error is discovered with an online order we will contact the customer to inform them of said published error. Bob Long Direct is under no obligation to process or fulfill an incorrect order. Our customers will have the option to continue the order along the correct pricing structure, or cancel.

Bob Long Direct does not currently operate an automated payment system therefore all orders are validated before they are processed. Customers will be notified about any errors with their order before the transaction is processed. Our online purchase system is to be used “as is”. Any attempt to modify or manipulate an order electronically, or by any other means is strictly forbidden. Bob Long Direct reserves the right withdraw any order at their discretion.

Bob Long Direct will not be held responsible for any negligent actions of the shipping carrier used to deliver an order. Any obviously damaged parcel must be signed for as “damaged” on the delivery receipt. Damage claims must be filed by the customer in accordance with the carrier’s terms and conditions.

Returns & Exchanges

Customers will incur a 15% restocking fee on any “new in box” items returned for refund or exchange credit. Bob Long Direct will not accept any returned items unless the return in question has previously been discussed with members of our staff. Items returned for refund or exchange credit must be in “new unused” condition accompanied by the original packaging and sales receipt. Bob Long Direct will not refund shipping costs incurred to return any item. Customers must return goods at their own cost within 30 days of purchase date to be eligible for refund or exchange credit. Customers will be held responsible for returned goods until they are back in the possession of Bob Long Direct. If goods are not returned in “new unused” condition, the customers right to full refund or full exchange credit will be forfeited. Bob Long Direct refunds in accordance with a customers legal rights under current applicable California and federal regulations.

Marker Warranty

Warranty Support and Service for Bob Long Technologies and Field One Paintball (F1P) products is provided by factory trained service technicians and F1P Authorized Service Locations. The F1P warranty is valid for one (1) year to initial retail purchaser. The warranty is limited to defects and workmanship in materials covering the paintball marker and regulator components. The electronic components and solenoid are warranted for six (6) months. Disposable parts (Batteries, O-Rings, Seals, etc.) are not warrantied. This warranty is effective only if the customer is able to provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase. The warranty is non-transferable. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts with the customer responsible for transporting the product to and from the F1P Authorized Service Location. 

This warranty does not cover surface damages (scratches and nicks), misuse, or improper disassembly and reassembly.  Attempts made to drill holes or remove metal from external surfaces could degrade the performance and/or safety of the marker and may only be preformed with written approval. The only authorized lubricant for the marker is Dow 33, Dow 55 Lubricant. Use of any other lubricant could result in reduced performance and invalidation of the F1P warranty. The use of Teflon tape as a sealant for any marker component may internally damage electro-pneumatics. The use of Teflon tape will void of your warranty. When installing aftermarket Drop-Forwards, ensure attachment fasteners DO NOT protrude into internal grip assembly. When installing aftermarket grips, ensure attachment fasteners DO NOT protrude into internal grip assembly.

Trigger alteration of any kind may result in serious injury, do NOT attempt to alter the trigger assembly in any way. Use of aftermarket components within the bolt system, trigger or other operational components voids any warranty on the modified assembly and its interacting systems. Removal of factory anodizing or other finish voids the warranty of any affected component, as tolerances will be affected by such action. F1P strongly discourages use of aftermarket internal components as they may jeopardize the performance and/or safety of your paintball marker.


Data Protection 

The purpose of this statement is to set out how we use personal information that we may obtain about you. By registering as a user and by using the Bob Long Direct website generally you agree to this use.

1. When you submit an order with our online store, you will be asked to provide certain information such as your contact details. We will store this data on computers or otherwise. We will use this data to fulfill our agreement with you.

2. We may use information that you provide or that is obtained by us:
(a) To register you with our website and to administer our web site services;
(b) For assessment and analysis (e.g. market, customer and product analysis) to enable us to review, develop and improve the services that we offer.
(c) For the prevention and detection of fraud.

3. We endeavor to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose online. You accept the inherent security risks of providing information and dealing online over the Internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or willful default.

4. You have the right to see personal data (as defined in the Data Protection Act) that we keep about you, upon receipt of a written request and payment of a fee. If you are concerned that any information we hold on you is incorrect please contact us.

5. Please be aware that our site may link to other web sites that may be accessed through our site. We are not responsible for the data policies or procedures or the content of these linked web sites.
